Rick is a local businessman with a BS in Civil Engineering from UNM. Rick is the CEO of JRA Cuervo Mountain RV Park and Horse Hotel. He is a licensed NM GB-98 Commercial Contractor and Engineer (inactive). Rick has served as Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Flour Corporation; Aker Kvaerner., President of Intellectual Capital LLC. Staffing and Recruiting and was also a member of the Kiwanis from 1987 to 1990.

Kenneth is a fifty four year resident of New Mexico and lives in Torreon. He and his wife of twenty four years have four children and four grandchildren. Kenneth works for the USDA Natural Resources and Conservation Service. He has a BA in Agricultural Education. Kenneth served several years on the Torrance County Fair Board and the Estancia School Board. He has also worked with the Estancia FFA students in livestock and meats judging.

Mr. Vicente has served as trustee for District No. 3: Vaughn – Encino area since 2016. Joseph is a lifelong resident of Vaughn New Mexico. He attended high school at the New Mexico Military Institute and graduated from the University of Arizona. Joe owns the Vicente Ranch near Vaughn where he lives with his wife Barbara and daughter Olive. Mr. Vicente is also actively involved with New Mexico Ag Leadership.

Mr. Connell was born in Gran Quivera. He and his wife Melody are life long residents of the Mountainair community. He is a graduate of Mountainair High School and attended Eastern New Mexico University. Wayne is a local rancher and Auctioneer. Mr. Connell has served on the Board of Trustees of Central New Mexico Electric Cooperative, Inc. Since 1991. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Tri-State G&T and Federated Insurance.

Mr. Tapia was elected to the Board of Trustee’s in April of 2019. He is a lifelong resident of Moriarty New Mexico. Mr. Tapia and his wife Leanne have two children together. Santos is a Moriarty High School Graduate and attended college at New Mexico Highlands University. He served as the secretary/treasurer of Enchantment Legacy in 2007. He has served as the Chairman of the Estancia Valley NRA since 2018. Mr. Tapia has also been a board member of the Moriarty Lions Club since 2018 and served on the Moriarty Chamber of Commerce Board from 2010 to 2012.

Ms. Gardner was elected to the Board of Trustee’s in 2018. She is a life-long resident of Estancia Valley. She and her husband Bill have three sons and three grandchildren. Together they own and operate Manzano Angus Ranch. Lisa is a graduate of Estancia High School and has a BS in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Economics from NMSU. She retired from Estancia Municipal Schools after 18 years of service as an Academic Advisor. She has been actively involved with the Torrance County Fair Board and local 4-H and FFA. Lisa is also an active member of her local church where she serves on the budget committee.

Mr. Frost has lived in Claunch Since 2001 and is a native of New Mexico. He and his wife Shelly have two children and four grandchildren. Mr. Frost is currently the President of the Board of Trustees for Central New Mexico Electric and has served on the board Since 1999. He also serves on the NMRECA state board. Duane is a ranch manager and a member of the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau State Board. He is on the Farm Bureau of Lincoln County Board and on the Lincoln County LANRAC Committee.

Mr. King is a life-long resident of Moriarty, New Mexico. He is a local rancher and farmer. Bill is a graduate of Moriarty High School and attended college at N.M.S.U. He has three children and six grandchildren. Mr. King is a current member of the Central New Mexico Electric Cooperative Board of Trustees, the Secretary of Edgewood Soil and Water Conservation District and former President of the New Mexico Cattle Growers. He is also on the Executive Committee of National Cattleman’s Beef Board.
