Safety Coloring Contest

For the younger generation CNMEC sponsors a Safety Coloring Contest, supported by the Member Service Organization of the NM Rural Electric Cooperative Association. (NMRECA)  The coloring posters are delivered to all the elementary schools in our servicing territory in February of each year. Students in grades two through four participate.  Each school selects the 1st and 2nd place, which will receive a monetary prize from CNMEC.  These posters are then judged again and the very best out of these will be sent to the statewide organization (NMRECA) to be judged for the statewide grand prize, which changes from time to time but is usually a monetary amount.
